I would like to be able to change the duration of the candle as well as look for how much volume occurred in that candle. In a standard stock chart, a 6 Month 1 day chart would should the Open/Close/High/Low of that asset during the day over a course of a 6 month period. Hovering over that candle would then show the volume inside that candle. Then if you wanted a more microscopic view, you could look at a day, 1 hour candle stock. Where there’s only a day shown and each candle represents an hour. Simiarly hovering over it would show the volume during that period as before. Check out some of the Candlestick charts on TDA for a good reference.

Hey Kevin, great suggestion. The biggest issue is we are not working with standard data driving the prices and the range of sales are all over for the same item and simply capturing what the lowest ask was within that range. Maybe a candlestick chart isn’t the best representation of the data because of this.
We are simply measuring what the lowest ask was for that moment, not necessarily how many sold. We do have sales data tho but it will get tricky to pull in because that includes all sales, not just lowest ask.
We’re currently working to see the best way to showcase this to help make the lowest ask more helpful for sure tho.

We have something rolling out that will create bigger periods of time for longer time frame charts and can continue to tweak and optimize. Giving user the option to change will require some time.

We currently allow 1 hr and 1 day. Will add other intervals in future
