discrepancy in minutes between your website and websites like ESPN, basketball reference#165

Hi, first off absolutely amazing website. I was completely blown away when I came across it.

There seems to be a discrepancy in minutes (and other categories as well though I was only focused on minutes) between your website and other mainstream websites where people can check up stats. For example, on WOWY, I went to Boston Celtics - no players on - no players off - dates 10/3/22 - 7/26/22 - regular season only - both home and away games - periods: 1,2,3,4 and OT - the total minutes listed for Marcus Smart for example is 1869. On both ESPN and basketball reference Marcus Smart’s total minutes played for the season is 1957. Playing with pre season or post season games, the OT periods, or the date range did not account for this discrepancy. I only looked at a few players but it seams to be an issue with all of them. If I’m missing something then I’m sorry for wasting your time and hopefully you could point out to me what I did wrong, if it’s a true bug I hope I helped bring it to your attention.

P.S. I was surprised to see there was no option to see games played on the WOWY tool, especially considering how many stats you have to chose from, but I will make a seperate suggestion for this.

I’m glad you are enjoying the site! I can take a look into that example and see if there’s anything obvious going on. In the past, there have been data issues or plays updated by our stats provider which requires a reimport. To test, we could reimport 2022 first and see if it corrects anything.
